Dr. Shin received her Bachelor of Science degree, Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, and residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from New York University. She graduated top 2% with high honors and received multiple awards, including induction into the distinguished National Dental Honors Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU). Dr. Shin is an adjunct assistant clinical professor at New York University in Department of Orthodontics and has her research published in numerous scientific journals.
Dr. Shin’s treatment philosophy is simple: to treat each patient as if her own family. She has been serving in New York City community and received President’s Volunteer Service Award from president Obama in 2016. Dr. Shin truly loves practicing orthodontics not only because it incorporates her talent in science and passion in art, but more so because she believes she can positively influence people’s lives with her caring yet smart orthodontic treatment to create a beautiful as well as healthy smile.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Shin loves to play tennis, explore the world, and spend time with her family.
Dr. Hyo Sup Shin

Dr. Shin achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry. He proceeded to complete his Advance Education in General Dentistry residency with NYU Langone Hospital. Dr. Shin grew up watching and learning from his father’s dental practice, and he is now working with his sister Dr. Jin Sup Shin, an orthodontist, in a family-owned practice.
Dr. Shin’s treatment philosophy is to help and educate patients to understand their oral health. When a dental treatment is indicated, he has a detailed conversation with his patient to maximize the treatment outcome and to prevent recurring diseases. This is why his patients have great outcomes and confidence when going to their dentist.
In his spare time, Dr. Shin is always learning to enhance his patient experience. He also likes to play golf, cycle, and travel with his wife.
Dr. Christine Yeojin Kim
Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Christine Kim attended New York University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and minored in Genetics and French. She continued her studies at NYU College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After receiving her DDS degree, Dr. Kim completed a General Practice Residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center and continued her residency training at Maimonides Medical Center earning her specialty degree in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Kim is a board-certified pediatric dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She believes all children deserve quality oral care and that a lifetime of healthy mouth starts at infancy. She finds great pleasure in providing a comfortable and enjoyable dental experience and helping kids become confident dental patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Kim enjoys trying out different restaurants, doing Pilates, traveling the globe, and going for a walk in Central Park with her dog Zuma.
